Love, and madness

I watched you burn me into ashes with your eyes,

I shivered as you flew unto me, inside my veins,

gushing in like the flood, sweeping in like the eclipse –

dark, deadly, silent.

As I purge myself in the very flames of my desire,

my martial cadence weakening every minute, every second

into deafening screams of intent,

Your tongue wrecks havoc, the serpentine constriction, the vine grasp,

dragging me deep into the harems of madness.

I know not if love happens on the alters of anguish,

but I’d go burn in hell for you.
